Tennis vs. riviera — know the difference. True tennis necklaces feature stones of the same size and shape running the full length of the chain. Riviera necklaces look similar but graduate from a larger center stone down to smaller ones toward the clasp. Pick your stone. Lab-grown diamonds offer the most brilliance and value-for-carat, moissanite delivers similar fire at a lower price point, and cubic zirconia is the most budget-friendly option for everyday layering pieces. All three can be set identically in solid gold, so the choice comes down to sparkle, durability, and budget rather than design.
