Unlike chain or link bracelets, a bangle is a fixed, rigid circle — which means getting the material and the size right matters more here than almost anywhere else in a jewelry wardrobe. Our bangles are cast in solid gold (not gold-plated or gold-filled base metal), so the color and shine are structural to the piece rather than a surface coating that thins with wear. For those who want brilliance without the price point of mined diamonds, we set many of our bangle designs with lab-grown diamonds or moissanite — both offer genuine fire and hardness, at a fraction of the cost of earth-mined stones. Cubic zirconia and natural gemstone options round out the range for color-driven or budget-conscious pieces.

Sizing a bangle correctly is the difference between a bracelet you wear daily and one that sits in a drawer. Because bangles don't open (or open only slightly via a hinge), we recommend measuring your hand at its widest point — across the knuckles, with the thumb tucked in — since that's the measurement the bangle needs to slide over. Add roughly ¼" to ½" for comfortable movement, or check our size guide for exact conversions between US, UK, and EU sizing standards.

Styling-wise, a single wide bangle makes a clean statement on its own, while two or three slim bangles in mixed metals (yellow gold, white gold, rose gold) create the stacked look that's dominated the wrist-jewelry conversation over the past few seasons. Pair a diamond or moissanite-set bangle with plain metal bands for contrast, or stay tonal with an all-gold or all-silver stack for a more polished, uniform finish.
